Picard vs. Romulus

I had dreamt that I woke in a prison cell shared with Captain Picard. We were the prisoners of Romulans... presumably on their homeworld of Romulus. We both had to keep quiet while the guards were watching, but as the sun began to set, it seemed clear that we had to hatch a plan for a prison break.

After the prison fell completely dark, Picard gave me succinct instructions for our escape plan. "There is a shuttle craft parked one kilometer east of here. We will need a short piece of wire and two ball point pens to jump start it. I'll divert the guards while you bring the supplies to the shuttle."

I started down the hallway and came across an office entrance. An inbox tray near the door provided a sheaf of paperwork bound by a paperclip. This not only provided me a means to pick the office lock, but also provided the wire needed for the jump start. Entrance into the office came easy, and I grabbed two pens from the cup on the desk corner.

Hiking out the jungle, it took a while to reach the shuttle, but I made it. Picard was waiting with the dash already disassembled. "What took you so long?" he asked.
